Jefferson goalie Basil Kamsheh was tested early as he faced three consecutive St. Louis Park shots and he saved all three. The Orioles would tie the game on Pittman's rebound goal with ;18.4 to go in the period.
St. Louis Park would vault into the lead with two second period goals. The first came when Drew Boyum rebounded Stanley Regguinti's shot and it crossed the goal line to put them ahead 2-1. Javk Wandmacher fed Jacob Johnson in the top of the left slot faceoff circle and he would score the short handed goal.
In the third period, the Orioles added two goals to their ledger. Boyum would pass to Wandmacher and his shot barely crossed the goal line putting St. Louis Park ahead by three. Pittman would conclude the scoring with his second unassisted goal, firing a shot from the right side of Kamsheh.
