High School Stadium
When the St. Louis Park Boys Soccer team opens its home season on Saturday, August 27, fans will witness a new and improved stadium that was renovated prior to graduation in June.
The first thing fans will see after they purchase their tickets at the new ticket window located outside the entrance is the new gate with the sign. go on your right and there will be a new concession stand.
Next, make a right turn and for the first time the stadium will have real, functioning bathrooms with sinks. The days of using satellite facilities on the sides of the bleacher will come to an end.
And last, but not least, there will be a new press box that will also contain a new sound system (where the author of this blog will begin his 21st year as the public address voice of Oriole Soccer). The box will be a little more spacious than the previous press box.
So that's what visitors can expect when they attend a soccer or a football game at St. Louis Park. An extreme makeover that will be very fan friendly.
