Both runners would cross the plate on Ethan Schmitz's two run double. St. Louis Park added a run to their ledger on Stefano Giovanelli's RBI single that scored Schmitz.
Osseo would score their lone run of the game in the top of the third when Tyler Rose score on a wild pitch from Boyum, who relieved starting pitcher Kristofer Hokenson.
St. Louis Park would score two runs in the bottom of the fourth without recording a hit. Giovanelli walked and Henry Odens was hit by a pitch. They both came home when Brady Walsh reached base on a throwing error by Osseo pitcher Matthew Kitzman. Their final run came across in the bottom of the fifth on a wild pitch that enabled Farley to cross the plate.
