There will be new leadership for the Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars boys hockey program next season as former Edina assistant coach Mike Terwilliger was named the new head coach.
Terwilliger replaced Jeff Lindquist, who retired after 16 years leading the West Bloomington school.
Terwilliger becomes the fourth head coach in Jaguar boys hockey history. Myron Grafstrom was the first head coach, followed by Tom Saterdalen and Lindquist.
Last season, Terwilliger was the head junior varsity coach at Edina, where his cousin Tom was an assistant coach. Another cousin Dave was an assistant to Hornets head coach Curt Giles.
Can Terwilliger lead the Jaguar program back to prominence? And a trip to St. Paul for the first time since 2005.
